The Asker just joined Yahoo/Answers today and has asked this question first in the History Category and then in the Religious Category. The answers are basically the same in both categories.

Clearly the question is not based on any facts but on the most extreme of myth and wishful thinking and that is his answer.

Where in a book that you concluded that Joseph gathered the blood of Jesus when He was crucified? Read the bible to erase your ignorance.

Jesus was neither crucified nor killed nor is he a god, he is a man in all respects.

If we read the Gospel of Luke it informs us after the alleged crucifixion, that Jesus walked and went to the upper room and asked for something to eat. Do dead men eat? or do spirits or spooks eat? He did not conquered death cos once dead we do not come back, this is God's law as detailed by Jesus himself and documented by St. Paul in the Bible.

The Bible per say is not the word of God, if it was it will be free of contradictions.

This is merely part of the grail legend.

Jesus' blood poured out onto the earth.
