First of all, there is no reason to believe you have cancer.
Second, yes it will probably drop, but it is slightly unusual that it hasnt already.
See a doctor if you are concerned, certainly cannot hurt.
I am sure your Mom would be quite discreet and sympathetic to your plight. Don't worry, it is most likely a small matter.

Go to the doctor right away and have it checked. Now that you are 18 you should be able to see the doctor without letting anyone know, but your undecended testicle shouldn't cause any issue with you family, it's a medical problem for crying out loud !Good luck and best wishes .

Wouldn't your mother know this? She changed your diapers, after all. And it would've come up during pediatic visits as well.
Even if you do have a testicle that hasn't descended, that doesn't necessarily mean it's cancerous. But it may put you at increased risk for problems, so you should probably get it checked out and see if anything should be done.
That said, you are 18, which is legally an adult. You should be able to call and make a doctor's appointment without your parents' consent. Just make sure you bring cash for your copayment if you have insurance, or can pay for your exam if you don't. No one needs to be the wiser, I suppose.
Good luck!

At your age I don't think it will drop on its own. You are 18 and as long as you are playing the bill sure you can go by yourself and not let anyone know about it. You really should consider telling your family since that is what family is for. You shouldn't be embarassed. I am surprised your Mother never noticed this or the doctor during exams when you were younger.

Definitely go to the doctor to have it checked out. If it would drop on it's own, it would have already happened. The biggest risks are an increased risk of cancer and infertility.
If you have medical insurance under your parents, they won't necessarily find out if you use the insurance. Besides, it's possible they already know if you've had this since birth. Early medical exams should have detected it. I know you'd rather die than have them find out but take a chance. As we get older we find that it really is not such a big deal if others know. No one laughs at us after all.

You need to see a doctor hunny. Now that you're 18 nobody else has to know at all.
It's really important that you get this seen too or it can become cancerous in the future.

Please tell your parents about this. They could be a support to you. Yes, you can go see a doctor without your parents involvement, but are you covered by insurance they carry on you? They would get statements. You could go to a clinic, urgent care center or a particular doctor on your own.

Cancer probably not, but you should see a doc if your balls haven't dropped yet.
You don't need your parents but you will need your insurance info.
Or you could just grow some balls and tell your parents.
Sorry about the joke I couldn't resist. XD

You are 18 and that means you are an adult, no one anywhere has to know. Find yourself a doctor and get an exam.
