no, not washing your hair can cause hair loss. I think the dirt and oils in your hair can clog up the pores, which can cause hair loss, or just thinning of your hair. That's just a guess.

not directly but hot water will make the pores on your scalp open up and cause ur hair to come out when you dry it the best way to keep this from happening would be to rinse your hair with cold water after washing this will cause the pores to shrink making the hair less likely to be pulled out easily

no cause ive been doing it for 2 years and my hair is up to my neck and no hairs have fallen out yet. i think not washing your hair everyday results in hair loss.

No, but it's not a good thing either. Hair has a natural protective coating and very frequent washing can destroy that.

No - not as long as you are using a gentle shampoo for daily washing. Treat your hai with respect when its wet too - thats when it is at its most fragile.
