Dog Food Recipe Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups All-Purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 cup Margarine, softened
1/2 cup Corn oil
1 Jar strained beef or liver baby food (2 1/2-ounce)
4 Eggs
3 Strips dog beef jerky, crumbled (optional)
Plain yogurt (for dogs) or cottage cheese (for dogs or cats), for icing
Dog Food Recipe Directions:
Sift flour and baking powder together; set aside. In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, cream margarine until smooth. Add corn oil, baby food and eggs; mix until smooth. At low speed, gradually beat flour mixture into beef mixture until batter is smooth. Fold in beef jerky. Pour batter into well-greased and floured 8"x5"x3" loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 325F. oven 70 minutes. Let cool on wire rack a few minutes before removing from pan to cool completely. Ice each slice with yogurt or cottage cheese for dogs, or with cottage cheese for cats. Yield: 1 (8") loaf cake
cake for dogs. sounds like a great idea. just double the recipe. go to petco and get a bunch of treats and make up little baggies for each "guest". get the treats at the "doggy bar" at petco. about $4 for a pound, and if you get the vanilla pretzels and animal crackers, you can get a lot for that $4. have fun!

well i already answered your other question on the treats
you are the coolest dog owner! lol what kind of dogs are they?
you could send out invitations on a bone shaped paper, and say that there will be a small gift swap for the puppies. (gifts around $5 each) and hold it in a dog park or even in your backyard. (require all dogs on a leash or at least a collar with an ID tag) i like the bobbing for hot dogs idea. you could have a frisbee catching contest too. get a bunch of little kid dress up things (hats, sunglasses, boas, scarves,) and have a mini dog photo shoot and send everyone thank you cards with the picture you will take of their dog in their costume. have a dog bathing contest. get a rubbermaid bin for everyone, fill it up with warm water, a plastic cup, a sponge, and a cup of dog shampoo on the side, and have a race to see who can finish washing their dog first. have a "guide human" contest to see how well their dog knows their voice. just get a bandana for each dog, wrap it loosely around their eyes, and have the owner guide the dog accross the yard by calling its name, snapping their fingers, and whistling. dont expect perfect order, they are only dogs you know. the best thing to do is to hang out with your puppies and catch up on everyone's life

I heard of a game once on the internet...
It's called dunking for hotdogs...same as dunking for apples, just with hotdogs. It might be fun to watch the puppies trying to get the hotdogs but it will make a watery mess....
Here is a site...for doggie cakes/treats...it might help you...

Hope it helps...Happy Birthday!!!!!!!

Sounds fun! They'll find their own games to play so you don't have to worry about that. They'll love the cakes!
