i iam wanting to use a newly built trans if the trans bolt up has changed to i am going to change over the computer so that will be easy

the ariginal engine is a 318 the 2000 is a 360 magnum

yes i know that oi will have to transfer the computer i am going to try to use as much as i can even the dash

the 360 should be the same as a 92-00 dodge 318 (block wise,the 360 is the same just bigger bore)

1985-1991 318s and 360s were a different block as they were throttle body injection and 1992 and up were multi port injection

they should be the same.

Yes the motor mounts have changed. The 2000 has side mounts, and also the ears at the front same as the '85, but the '85 has no provision for the side mounts.
So, you could put the 2000 engine in an '85 without modifying the mount, but not the other way around.
The transmission boltup is the same.

yes they have changed ,but can be made to work,the bolt pattern on tn transmission has stayed the same but the mounts on the newer transmission is on the side of it,,good luck with it.

The poblem i see is the 2000 is computer ran so you need all the computer an acc from the dooner to hook it up???
