How can it be a mistake? Oops! I cheated! *teehee*

Whether you forgive someone is entirely up to you. Do what's best for you.

My husband cheated on me when I was pregnant with our 4th child. With my best friend. This was 19 years ago and I haven't forgiven him yet. Never will. Some things can't be forgiven. You may go on with the relationship but it will never be the same. I'm sure the person doing the cheating wasn't thinking about it being a mistake while it was happening. People who cheat like to say "it just happened" like they tripped or something and wound up in bed with someone. "It was a mistake" or "it was an accident" are other lame excuses. It's only a mistake once their partner finds out about it. Up till then it's a notch on the belt and a stroke for their ego. People who can't be loyal in a relationship don't deserve to be in the relationship. Period.

There is no such thing as "it was a mistake". It was either cheating or not. But that has nothing to do with if you should forgive that person or not. If you can get over it, then forgive them and move on. If not, you have not forgiven them and probably never will. You can not change the fact that it happened or why it happened. You can only change your rationalization for it. The facts are the facts. It is only how you feel about it.

You already forgave him. When you said it was truely a mistake (spelled truly). But you are wrong. There is no such thing as truly a mistake. If the person truly made a mistake he can do so again. And again. And again.

The bottom line is it is up to you. I forgave my fiance before we were married for cheating once. Because I caught him once. Years later I find out he continued to cheat on me throughout our marriage. Learn now before it is too late.

What is a mistake? What happened? Was it the heat of the moment? No i'm afraid not. It was a choice, and a difficult one at that. I have cheated and I admit I was a sick ****.

No because they don't love you anymore.
If they willingly have sex with someone else, how do they still love?

"Oh ill think about him, while i'm giving it to another guy"
