just buy some curlers instead of all that other stuff. you could just go to like walgreens, cvs or the dollar store. they sell curlers for really low prices. they always have some for under 10 bucks. and they work for a long time
and buy some holding spray

I had the same problem at your age. You've had some good answers-I have done the braids and the bobby pin curls, but rollers never really worked on my super straight hair.
Another option is rag curls-they cost nothing. Get a bunch of strips of cloth-preferably cotton-old towels work well. The strips should be about one inch by 3-4 inches. Part damp hair into as many sections as desired-the more the curlier-and tie a rag around the end of the section, then roll it up close to scalp and tie it again. You can put mousse or gel on first to increase the hold. Let dry, untie and unroll, brush out. Gives you like spiral curls. Good luck.

take an old towel and cut it into strips, about 6 inches long. divide your hair into very small sections, and wrap each section around and around the towel strip, starting at the ends, and roll up to the roots. tie the ends of the strips together. You do this on wet hair, and sleep with them in overnight. If it is still damp in the morning, use a hairdryer BEFORE you untie the strips. Your hair will be beautifuly curly! It is how women curled thier hair before rollers and irons were invented, and it works great. have a friend or parent help you, good luck!

All you really need to do is get yourself a pack of bobby pins or clips & you'll be set. Just wet your hair & maybe add a little gel. Then take your hair in sections & "roll" it like you would on a roller (just without one) & pin it in place. Allow your hair to dry completely & then remove the clips & gently separate the curls with your fingers. You could also try braiding your hair. I used to do that years ago, I'd put a bunch of medium sized braids in my hair overnight & would have wavey hair when I woke up.

If you will miss your straight hair, why are you going curly?
Anyway, here's what to do, and it's free. :)
Take a shower, wash your hair...and then braid it. If you want lots of tight curls, make a lot of small braids. If you want big, wavy curls (I'd go with this), make like 5 or 6 braids. Let it dry completely...Then take the braids out.
Curls for free! But I'm sure your straight hair is pretty. :)

Sounds like you're working with pretty much nothing.
Try sleeping with a bunch of small-ish braids all over your head. Take a shower at night, mist your hair with hairspray. Keyword-MIST. You don't want it getting stiff, just a little hold. Braid your hair, go to sleep. I would say try a night ahead to see how it'll make YOUR hair turn out, but you don't have time. So good luck=)

Why not use a couple of bucks at the dollar store and buy some foam rollers. For crazy hair I would always roll them when my hair was wet and leave them in over night...take them out in the morning and NEVER brush...just gel it and pick it a bit.

go out and buy some bobby pins, they're really cheap
take a shower and dab your hair with a towel to get the excess water out
put your hair into about four different sections(more or less depending on the thickness of your hair)
take one section and twist it around your finger until you get a small bun against your hair, pin that section up with a bobby pin
do this to each section of hair until all your hair is up into small, seperate buns
spray a light hairspray and let your hair dry
when your hair is mostly dry take out the bobby pins and brush your hair out with your fingers
you should get some nice, beach looking waves
it worked perfectly for me when my hair was long :)

Like they said, braid. or you could get some crazy crazy hair by putting gel in your hair and then parting your hair in different areas and then twisting it and wrapping it with a rubberband, or you know those things that hold your hair. lol.. rubberbands.. lol.. but then leave in for about 10 minutes, then let them out, if you dont like it completely after, then wash your hair.. lol. then braid. lol good luck!
