Oh boy!!! I feel so guilty because I think I might have been me who said that to someone a couple of months earlier regarding the topic of dating and marriage... I apologize to any ladies who might have been offended by my car reference. Sorry...
I was using an analogy of....it has to do with being with a women first ( dating ) before you want to finally take her home ( marriage) for good. That is exactly what I meant by that phrase when I said that. Like I said before. I apologize for any misundersanting of my words.
Good luck

If it makes you feel any better, most guys do love their cars intensely. Many of the same concepts for cars (high maintenance, lots of miles, gently used, etc.) do roughly carry over to describe women. However, most of the mature men eventually grow out of this practice, since a relationship with a living, breathing woman requires more skills than the simple maintenance that most cars require.

Lol, i immediately thought of "headlights". I haven't heard someone talk about women in a car sense for a while, that is just a phrase like "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree", i don't think someone that says that really means it as a insult to the tree or the apple its just a phrase. Good Luck!

Most guys don't need a test drive. We do like to know history of the vehicle and have an idea of the current mileage and the basic condition of what's underneath the hood. Plus we need to know if it is towing anything.

It makes sense depending on how you look at it. I believe it's more of comparing cars to women, not vice-versa. Honestly, it's only saying you have to get to know someone (or something) before commiting to it. (i.e. marrying or buying) Just an expression.

Because guys do not respect the girls. They know that girls nowadays are easy. So the girls are compare to a car. Girls aren't giving themselves the respect so how do you think that you girls are going to get respect.

I would mind. But that's just men being men ignore it. There just saying "you got to test out the woman before you get in deep with her."

because if women were more like cars then all you would have to do is put a key in the ignition and you would get a ride...
