Last year I remember the Atheists began to assemble under a gentle snowfall in our quiet and humble little community near the old white church when suddenly there were police everywhere, dragging screaming, swearing, and near hysterical atheists into their squad cars. Later I was told they didn't have the correct permits for a public assembly.
Anyway I didn't get a chance to hear their songs. What songs do you think the Atheists were planning to sing?

I can't hold a note to save my life and carrolling isn't a big thing here anymore.

Vienna Teng - The Atheist Christmas Carol Lyrics

It's the season of grace coming out of the void
Where a man is saved by a voice in the distance
It's the season of possible miracle cures
Where hope is currency and death is not the last unknown
Where time begins to fade
And age is welcome home

It's the season of eyes meeting over the noise
And holding fast with sharp realization
It's the season of cold making warmth a divine intervention
You are safe here you know now

Don't forget
Don't forget I love
I love
I love you

It's the season of scars and of wounds in the heart
Of feeling the full weight of our burdens
It's the season of bowing our heads in the wind
And knowing we are not alone in fear
Not alone in the dark

Never forget that Xmas is not really a christian holiday at all. We sing about what it's really about: a pine tree (o denneboom, o denneboom, wat zijn uw takken wonderschoon)... They used to set them on fire... Like the christians did to our ancestors when they decided they had to take over. And don't lie about atheists, it's you religious zealots that are hysterical, screaming and swearing at other people's gods.

And they'd sing songs that are 'ambiance' in general...

I love Christmas songs (both religious and secular) but not until the middle of December and NEVER before Thanksgiving.

This sounds like the usual hysterical reaction to anybody criticising religion.

Its on a CD called "The twelve songs of I-deny-a-monotheistic-godMAS."
