Yes and we would destroy it, naturally, because it will confict with ours and be automatically 'wrong'.

A similar bible that makes no mention of beings on other planets? Or perhaps God didn't know that one day we would make contact.

if we found a similar bible on another planet that in itself i think would be proof of god. like in that episode of the simpsons when the aliens come down for homer's roast and say something like, "we've been watching your puny little planet since it was created.... 4,000 years ago.... by god!"
now if that is the case, i repent.
but, just like everything else in my life. i need proof first.

how can they have a similar bible when we have about maybe 500 versions of the bible here on earth.

well, maybe if the aliens are just plants?
maybe there might be another planet, but with only with small plants, and some fish...or maybe even smaller, somthing like bacteria. Aliens don't have to be intelligent. WE could be the intelligent ones.

That's what humanity hates - the fact that we are the only life in this universe - points more and more to the issue that we are a unique creation - and someone did this.
