It's all about translation.
The important thing to consider, is that He died, for our sins. What difference does it make whether it was a cross or a tree.

Acts 5:30 the tree used to make the cross. silly silly viper.

Judas was filled with satan that and Jesus ordered Judas to go do what you are going to do, in Luke 22:3.

The cross was constructed from a tree but one that was cut down and not technically hung like that of Judas. So all those that follow Satan are followers of a cursed master.

In some languages the word for "wood" and "tree" are interchangeable. This is the case in Hebrew, hence it would be said of anyone who was crucified that he was "hanged on a tree."
It was said of Saul in I Samuel 31:10 that his body was "fastened" to the wall of Bethshean; but in II Samuel 21:12 it is said of Saul the Philistines had "hanged" his body upon the wall of the city.
To be "hanged on a tree" then simply means to be fastened by some means to a piece of wood, whether a living tree or cut wood.

our LORD Jesus Christ was crucified on a roman cross, but from a Jewish perspective, it was a "tree", in which the individual was cursed by God. The Jews not only wanted his death, but to have God's curse to be put on Jesus. God bless.

"If a man has committed a sin worthy of death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his corpse shall not hang all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him on the same day (for he who is hanged is accursed of God), so that you do not defile your land which the LORD your God gives you as an inheritance" Deut. 21:22-23

What would crucifixion be, if not hanging on a tree? Not hanging IN a tree or FROM a tree: hanging ON a tree.

The cross was a tree which had been cut down. Is your house made of trees? When we are taught not to waste paper at school, don't they tell us we are saving trees? Surely yours is a rhetorical question.

Jesus was crucified on the cross in effect as one who was cursed for us as it is written that he that is cursed is hanged from a tree.

Deut,

22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:
23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Both, the cross was a tree, a dogwood
they nailed him to the tree and pierced his side
the same
you need to read all the Scriptures on it together

There is NO Greek word for "cross" so they used wood or tree to describe it. It is HISTORICAL FACT that crosses were used by the Romans to crucify men at the time of Jesus. But dont take MY word for it - look it up!

St Helena found the one True Cross by miracle about 300 years after Christ's death. (she also found two others with it.) A relic of the cross is embedded in the ring that the Pope wears. (Which is why so many Catholics kiss it).
