I am a 65 yr old lady. It was very hot here today and when I removed my bra, the area where to band goes, under the breast is very sore and red. Its a heat rash. What is the best way to treat it? I have put baby powder on it, like for diaper rashes, does not seem to work and also put on some antifungal cream. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hydrocortizone cream works very well. Any kind of barrier cream to keep out moisture will help. If you are itching, the Hydrocortizone will help soothe it. Depending on the severity of itching, you could take an anti-histimine for some relief. Good Luck!!

A fine, thin film of regular vaseline. It's a natural moisture barrier, and will let the skin breathe while it heals.
