I am a Christian.
I attend worship with a congregation that emulates churches described in the Bible.
Church does not have a human leader, and does not have a "National Office". The Bible does not authorize either of these positions. All it authorizes are Elders and Deacons at the congregational level. That is what we have as church leadership. We have a preacher that we enjoy, but it is our responsibility to see that what he says stays within what the Bible says. Salvation is our responsibility, and we try to keep each other from straying. Even the minister.
The Elders are charged with leading us, and giving our congregation direction. The Deacons help the Elders implement the Elders requests. We work jointly with other like minded congregations on projects. For example, about 10 congregations here in the Midwest put on an annual Marriage Retreat to strengthen marriages and families. My wife and I are certified facilitators for Christian marriage seminars.
We follow early church traditions, but we also allow for new more modern conveniences. We have air conditioning and we most certainly do use microphones, for example. We drive cars and have computers. We generally don't have musical instruments at our worship services because we use the instruments God gave us -- our voices. That way everybody can participate, and it is not like we are sitting back enjoying a performance of some sort.
By being as close to the early churches as we can, we are trying to ensure that we do not stray from Biblical teachings.
As for me, personally, I understand that at some point, Jesus will be coming back for His Church. I am trying to be right there in the front row.
I know that he will find the saved all over the place, but still, I don't want to be "missed" some how, and don't want to take too many chances......

Salvationist!!!! And proud of it!!!:o)
The Salvation Army began with the efforts of two founders, William Booth and Catherine Booth, to bring salvation to the poor, the hungry, the homeless, and the destitute. In 1865, William Booth established The Christian Mission in London, England, which would later be called as The Salvation Army in 1878. The name was changed to The Salvation Army (apparently by the request of an initial member; the Christian Mission's mission-statement originally called the organization a 'volunteer army', and the speaker felt that he wasn't strictly a 'volunteer') and a quasi-military outlook was adopted. the salvation army is now nown as the salvos
When William Booth became known as the General, Catherine was known as the “Mother of The Salvation Army.” William preached to the poor, and Catherine spoke to the wealthy, gaining financial support for their demanding work. She also ministered, which was a revolutionary act at the time. From the beginning it was already clearly stated in the Foundation Deed of the Christian Mission, that women had the same rights to preach as men. Together the Booths worked tirelessly to help others and brought a spiritual and practical message of rejuvenation. As William said, “The three ‘S's’ best expressed the way in which the Army administered to the 'down and outs': first, soup; second, soap; and finally, salvation.”
I'm a Salvationist because "Faith Without Works Is Dead!!!" James 2:14-26

I may not get Best Answer, but here is mine:
I am a member of the Church of Christ, founded by Christ in Jerusalem in A.D. 33 on the Day of Pentecost, and found in the Bible in Romans 16:16. I believe that Christ will come back for me when He comes back for His church, and I hang on to that hope (1 Peter 3:15). I do my best to do what He says, like He says, with no deviations.

Raised Lutheran, still go to church every Sunday because I like the people/committees/environment, but I'm agnostic/humanist. There were just too many questions piling up, and the answers don't make sense. I like hearing the views of others at church, and I'm open to new ones, but I stopped believing in what they were saying a while back. Too many of the church people (pastor, etc) have some scary and ignorant views on things. Right now just keeping an open mind and listening to what people have to say.

Catholic.
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
