This happens to me as well but is something you need to see your doctor about. These are symptoms of many pysiological ailments such as anemia, hypoglycemia, hypertension etc... You need to have some blood tests and blood pressure tests done to know for sure what is causing this.

Its called postural hypotension and due to blood pressure being low. When you suddenly stand up, the blood can't get to your head fast enough. Its mostly a benign condition in someone your age. Get up in stages. From bed, first sit, then stand.

You should see your doctor to make sure you are not anemic, diabetic or have other problems.

You need to either see your optometrist or your family doctor. Ocular migraines could be the cause, but it could be other serious retinal issues like degeneration or detachment. An increase in the level of fluid pressure within the eye can also cause visual disturbances. You need to talk to a medical professional who can investigate further.
