Well, lad, things could happen: a comet big enough to bring our species to extinction sooner than excepted, or a global nuclear exchange, or several. Or a worldwide epidemic to which medical science has too few immediate solutions. Global warming could get totally out of control, the threat of which would affect far more than rising seas. Our 'last days.' I'm thinking you're speaking of 'last days' in a religious context, however. The answer is No. Across the span of centuries there have been endless numbers of 'end of the world,' or 'last days' predictions. And here we are. Superstition is enormously popular among folks who, it's fair to say, really aren't too bright--such as most of the Christian fundamentalists. Simply ignore them, they are brainwashed, frightened, easily manipulated people. Meanwhile, live your life, fill your brain with learning, give wing to your hopes and dreams, and be happy and safe and forever yourself. Listen to me, now.

The last days are upon us, but no on knows the day or hour. It will come on us like a thief in the night. Like Noah and the ark, no one believed until the water was upon them. this is how the last days will be.
Watch and lesson, when all of the prophecy's are completed.
watch the news, its happening now. the time is very short.
We haven't seen the prophets who will have power and do great things, and then spend three days dead where every one can see, this has happened yet. when it does the time will be very close.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
2 Timothy 3
1. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Yes.
Anyone who can read weather patterns can know that we are in the last days. But not that last. Kind of more like the middle of the last.

edit. Oky, now I get it, but Dylan will probably smack you up side the head now. You're just asking for it, aren't you? You like pain?

Absolutely.

Hebrews 1
1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these LAST DAYS he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

Man, the last days thing is so overrated. It's not like they didn't think they were living in the last days when the Black Death swept through Europe in the 14th century. It's a major anxiety attack that we call religion because so many people seem to have it together.

No. Revelation is a message to 7 specific churches about the impending demise of the Roman Empire. The Greek word for "revelation" is apokalupsis.

Seriously, people need to just get over it...

I think that everything is definitely in place, yes. Look at all the prophecies that have already been completed. And the techology for the mark is already here with the computer chip so tiny it can be implanted under the skin. Also, through the computer, we can buy and sell worldwide through places like Paypal, etc., hence we already have a worldwide monetary system.

Yes I do. Just look at what's going on in the world right now. More hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, (that are happening where the usually don't) and now a volcano, monsoons, typhoons, flooding, and drought.
