My boyfriend and I have been dating for about a month now, but we've been best friends for almost a year. We have already said that we loved eachother before we started dating, but jokingly or as brother and sister...
He's quite shy and has never had a girlfriend before... and I don't want to scare or freak him out by telling him that I love him, for real...
How long should I wait?
or should I wait for him to say it?
or should I never say it and just wait until we get married? ;]
and none of this "When it feels right" BS, I've already heard that many times.

Yes, I am pretty sure I love him. We've been like "BFF4LYF" for forever. [that's best friends forever for life]
I was thinking about waiting for at LEAST another month...
heh, one of my friends told me to say "you know it's okay if you say that you love me" to him one of these days...
I thought it was cute, but it's sorta pressuring him into saying it... ah now I'm just rambling.

oh yeah I forgot something.
Like I said, this is his first relationship, but I have had a few flings when I was younger, but now that I have matured, I take the whole dating thing more seriously, and not "hook up with anything that moves"
I've also been too chivalrous during that time. I probably said "I love you" to all my past boyfriends... and looking back at it, I really regret saying it.
I just want it to have REAL meaning this time... not just some salutation
