Do you hold all your faith in Jesus or God Himself? Jesus was a man with the divine spirit of God, but God is... well, the holy spirit itself, Jesus just carried out God's tasks by using the spirit. I understand many of you would feel as though worshipping Jesus is inherently the same as worshipping God, but it isn't. God created Jesus. God is all that matters.

What you may not understand, and is stated in the Bible clearly, is that Jesus is also God, so is the HOly Spirit. The Bible doesnt use the word TRINITY, so men try to deny it. But it does describe a triune God. Godhead is title and there are three operating as one in this Godhead. All are God.
Father, son and Holy Spirit. SO , when we worship, we worship GOD, blessed trinity. God tells us in His word that any religion that brings you God without the full teachings of Jesus, is false religion. So if you say you only worship Father God, you dont know a true GOd. as to worship God, we worship Father, SOn and Holy GHost, one not more important than the others Like you need water to make ice. ice is still water, but its now ice. get it. These three go together as one. Many try to deny this trinity, but its all just there if ppl will only study. When God says about it being only one GOD, it is correct. THREE IN ONE< Jesus came and suffered and died so we wouldnt have to. Without Jesus we would have no chance at being saved, healed or delivered> But till ppl realize that JEsus is also God, they will miss the important of the whole gospel message. And, we are commanded to live like Jesus and to obey, that is the key to all things. Gift of salvation is free, but holding on to it is conditional. We are commanded to be like Jesus, not just merely a suggestion The Holy Spirit is also God. Until ppl can grasp this, so many things just dont click in and make sense, as the scriptures leave too many unanswered questions. BUt once you get this about the triune God, it all just clicks. Praise God for truth and new revelation.
It is a joy to live as Jesus lived, its not drudgery, and yes it can be done, by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the power of the blood Jesus shed at that cross. WE can receive His power if we will obey and follow..... One is not more important than the other. all are GOD>

God is in me through Jesus. The two are inseparable in that way, but God is the Source. Jesus is the bridge. The Holy Spirit is the force between them that comes to us, and everyone else (the saints, angels, et al) is part of the supporting structure that leads us to everlasting life. However, keep in mind that I am only somewhat enlightened

Jesus forgave sins himself, called himself by Gods name, accepted worship, said that HE was the bread of life, HE was the only way to Heaven, and that quite literally if we have seen him, we've seen the Father. These are not actions of a mere prophet but a son of God the Father and himself God.

Jesus himself said if you dont know the son, then you are never going to know the Father. Your blindness makes Jesus out to be a liar and that he is not.

Of course God isn't all that matters. We are forgiven our sins by faith in Jesus Christ. It is because of Jesus we can come before the throne of grace to obtain mercy.

Jesus was God made flesh. They are one.

If we could get to God without Christ, then Christ would not be important. But I believe the only way to perpetually atone for sins is through Christ.
