buy French for Dummies and try to have a simple conversation with her just about her day and stuff. it will be easy to go up to her since its a different language you are speaking... plus she will be very impressed and attracted that you tried to speak French and will probably find it cute since you will have a bad french accent :-P ... its also not too hard of a language to learn
