Yes, as long as the homeowner doesn't object. They never do because they all want the traffic near their house (and children) to slow down.

Yes they can if they know the person like a friend or relative and sometimes they will run radar from their own driveway ,that's what I do sometimes.They can also go and ask the homeowner if it's okay.

they can only run radar from private property if they have permission before hand. retired texas deputy sheriff

it's not always cops that radar you sometimes it Private people with traffic infringement contracts. they are normally that ones with the shifty idea to catch you, not NORMALLY the cops.
