Ok, I'm 12. Deal with it. I am in love with a 18 yr old and he loves me back. Is it statutory rape if we just date? Because we want to date but we're afraid he'll go to jail. Help please?

Yes, it's illegal. Guys that old only want one thing from girls your age and they will say anything...ANYTHING...to get it. Don't be fooled by his sweet words and wonderful gifts.
P.S. It's only considered statutory rape if you guys have sex...but then again, I consider guys like that to be child molesters. I mean, really. Find a girl your own age or at least someone who graduated high school.

The youngest he can date is 16. You shouldn't be dating at all!
I was 12 once. 12 y.o. people don't date! They stay home and do chores and homework...You gotta EARN the glass slippers, Cinderella!

well its not illegal to date but it is if you are having sex.you have alot of years a head of you.and lots of other boys dont rush in to any thing.
