I'm no expert, but I think as carnivores, dogs have been eating all the birds they've been able to get ahold of for about the last 20,000 years. Some people think the best diet for modern canines have is the BARF diet, which is an acronym for Raw Food And Bones. Oh wait, that would be R-FAB, which isn't a folkys, catchy phrase. I think they even let their dogs eat raw bones under the assumption that the intestinal damage that bones shards do is from when they become brittle from cooking.
Now, if you were worried about any humans you know eating other animals - then I'd say it would make sense to be concerned about how long rotting flesh can stay in their colon before it starts infecting the surrounding internal tissues. But dogs? ... Nah, their intestines are short -- meat-adapted.

I think I would make sure he has plenty of water to drink and let nature take it's course.
I know raw chicken would make you worry about bacteria, but I've seen dogs eat some nasty things and be just fine.
Be sure you walk him in an area that has green grass. If he does have an upset stomach, he will nibble on that to ease the distress.
I don't think I would use a colon cleansing product on a dog, especially if it is designed for humans. Their systems are VERY different from ours.

Dogs can handle raw meat just fine. Many people feed their dogs strictly raw meat. Their systems are made to handle this because they can't exactly cook their prey in the wild.
No, don't give him the colon cleanser. That would likely cause more damage than any raw meat ever could.
As long as the meat wasn't spoiled, you have nothing to worry about.

I hope your not swallowing corn dog's answer. Chicken bones MUST BE RAW, to be eaten by your dog. Not boiled, not fried, not roasted, not grilled, not cooked in any way. RAW. Uncooked bones are soft and easy to chew and swallow. The bones can also be easily squeezed in their mouth, and that gets the yummy marrow out. Chicken bones must be raw. Pork bones can be cooked, smoked, or raw. Beef bones can be cooked, smoked, or raw. Don't worry about salmonella. Dogs digestive systems are much different than ours. Humans learned to use fire. So we lost many of our defensives to intestinal bacteria. Canines never had that luxury, so their defense to bacteria is far better than our own. They can eat carrion, whereas we can't. Raw meet gives your dog the best protein. Nothing has been lost in the cooking process.

My dog eats raw uncooked chicken all the time and she's been doing that for 4 years now and hasn't gotten sick once. I think your dog will be fine.

No, please don't give your dog a colon cleaning product for humans. Dogs can eat uncooked chicken, although I wouldn't recommend giving it to them. Your dog should be fine, check his poop to make sure it's normal but if his stomach seems upset feed him some cottage cheese and white rice (about half and half), this will clean his stomach. My dog sometimes gets into the trash and eats uncooked chicken as well, he is always fine.

Dogs have been eating raw birds for a very long time, don't worry. Don't give him the "colon cleanser" If you are worried because of what you hear about people getting sick from undercooked puoltry relax, there is a risk but not nearly as bad as it is made to seem. Besides if he is going to get sick from it it will happen before the fiber can act anyway.

Your dog will be fine!
Millions of dogs eat raw meat everyday - this includes chicken with the bones!!. If you want to look after his health do not give him the fibre product - give him more raw meaty bones.
The risk of any infection is minimal - the food was for human consumption and dogs have short digestive tracts with extremely strong acid in their stomachs (if you are that worried about infectious organisms read the food recall lists one day). Dogs are evolutionary designed for eating and digesting raw meat, bones, skin and offal so please stop worrying.
