If you are a Christian and you are forced to kill someone but you know it is wrong buy the bible but it is not punishible by law, would you do it and why? Someone is holding a gun to you and you are holding it to them, what would you do?

What COULD be an unworthy cause to YOU is more than enough reason for you to die for Jesus as he died for you.

By the way I'm 13.

I think that according to biblical teachings, killing is ALMOST always wrong. But not all the time.

I think most Christians would tell you that they would kill under certain circumstances - if they had to, to protect themselves or others from someone trying to harm or kill them.

Millions of Christians have had to do this throughout history. They've done it in wars, and in many other situations. My guess is that it has been hard to deal with, but most probably come to terms with it.

I think what is harder to deal with is other situations and dilemmas. The killing of soldiers of opposing armies can often be justified. But there are more difficult things to justify that we do or are involved in every day. Consider how we treat the poor, the disabled, weaker people, people with special needs. And what about capital punishment? Jesus would never approve of that.

Your question is a good one. But I think Christians face questions just as tough - or tougher - all the time.

or if you are Muslim then you probably beleive Jesus went to Damascus and died of old age . or if you are Buddhist you don';t believe in hurting anyone and die of love for your fellow man . But to put aside self defense which preserves all these good causes is beyond me . In the myth called the messiah as recanted for the sixteenth time throughout various religions Christ supposedly lived till the age of thirty not thirteen .... you should try to not make enemies and youand your friends will hopefully at least live longe enough to reach adulthood . life is more precious than death even if you believe in a new miraculous life that cannot be substantiated.
if you think spareing a killer is noble think of what torture you would be putting your parents and other loved ones through .
peace live to appreciate it

I have thought if I could ever kill anybody and under what circumstances. I think the only way I could is if someone was hurting my children. If I had an opportunity to hurt them instead I would but you can't mess with mamma's babies

If I had to shoot someone to save my own life (or, probably more important, the lives of others) then yes, i would do it. God's not going to send you to hell if you're a believer and you have to do something like this.

Your scenario describes self-defense, which is not wrong in the eyes of God. Self-defense is not considered murder.
