I totally pigged out yesterday so i decided to work out and eat little today.
I swam laps for about an hour today. i think around 2500 yards. I am 18 and weight 141 (5'10). I ate about 4 small meals throughout the day but i am really really hungry still.

how much calorie do you think i burned?

is it unhealthy to eat a lot in one day and little the next to balance out?

I'm guessing you're burning about 400 500 calories an hour swimming laps at a moderate effort. You need to balance your eating. Try 1500 (1200 if you start gaining) calories a day split up into 3-5 meals a day if you can. That's a lot of food for someone with your vitals. Don't try to make up for mistakes just get back on your eating plan the next day. Keep swimming. You're healthy with a good attitude, good for you.

in order for the body to function at a normal level of efficiency it needs nutrients and calories on a daily basis. if you want to keep your metabolic functions normal you should never consume less calories than your BMR requires.
