2 answers....if the head of the key is black or plain metal and thin (1/8") then anywhere can do it. if the key head is grey and fatter (1/4" or 5/16") it is an antitheft key and needs done by a good locksmith or a dealership. they grey head keys need to be programmed to work with the vehicle. take all working key when you get a programmed type key and have them all done at once...hope this helped.

Go to a locksmith. A Stratus is actually a Mitsubishi, the keys cannot be cloned by Ace Hardware's machine. A PIN code is required to program the keys.

If any regular source like Home Depot or Wall-Mart says that they don't have a certain special rare or uncommon key (and tell you that this is what you have); a locksmith shop is your answer. They are only expensive if they have to come to you.
Even then, it might be better than having to order one from the dealer.

If there is a microchip inside, you need to have it made at the dealer's. Any locksmith can make a duplicate key, but they aren't equipped to duplicate computer-controlled keys. Good luck!
