Over the last 3 years, I have had a lot thrown at me. And in terms of stress, try going to school, holding down a job, being a mom to two children, and struggling financially to the point where you debate between buying food or paying a utility bill. Couple that with being overwhelmed by keeping up with everything and I often felt like giving up.
But what always helped me was the scripture reference that stated, "God will not allow you to go through more than you can handle". At that point, when I'm totally stressed out, I stop and ask God what lesson he is trying to help me to learn. From what I've seen, we go through rough times as well as good times for a definite reason. Life is not guaranteed to be easy, and when things are difficult, it's often the way to learn something.
When I realize this truth, I realize that I am very blessed in the fact that God believes I have some special ability to survive almost anything!!!

What enables me is understanding. Because the worst is there to bring the best out of you, it is there as an opportunity to truly be consciously great in the face of adversity.
So I guess the longer answer would be; observation-->consciousness--> then understanding.
That's a good question btw.

Knowing that I'm not the only one having a rough time and that someone else has been though this too. But I find if I get out and do something good for someone else it takes my mind off of my problem makes me feel good for helping someone else and before you know it my problem is no more.

i assume this is the religion that I very own or the capability of character that I tie a touch knot on the tip of the rope and carry close on for costly existence . Or it would desire to be that if I stop i will never comprehend how this is going to finally end up yet as quickly as I proceed regardless of my struggles and temptation to melancholy , I carry out to a ray of wish and an answer interior the darkness will come and that llight on the tip of the tunnel will make it clean as day.

When things are going poorly for me I find that it is a good time to try and find someone else that is having a rough go of it and help them get things going right again. Then my own issues seem to work themselves out. Instead of telling God how big my troubles are I tell my troubles how big my God is!

I'm nowhere near being my best when things are at their very worst. I just try to get through until times get better.

Red Queen,
My wife has been a constant support in everything that I have done the last 34 years. We have been best friends and she has been my lifeline in those times. She and I are also both Christians and we support one another in prayer also. Have a nice week.
Thanks,

I close my eyes, and imagine a calm place, and that I am a calm person, and that I am the person I've always wanted to be. That keeps me calm in the worst of times.
