It'll make your head spin. I do feel some people do blindly follow, others are honest about their faith.
What I find offensive is this. Religion should be personal, it should be between you and what ever you choose to follow. When religion keeps me from doing what I want, or it inflicts it's self on others then it is offensive. I think religion should in no way ever be part of the government, politics, laws, or anything else that governs people. Religion is to much about I'm right and everyone else is wrong, and it makes it a very dangerous and scary belief for anyone who is out numbered at the moment.
The offense comes to me when it keeps us from doing good, learning how to heal our children, and when it keeps people in anyway suppressed. Yes that to me is when religion is offensive.

Foolish Belief well I don't think this statement is very correct in my opinion. We are given the choice to belief freely.
By God and in Usa.

Lots of people have lots of foolish beliefs, and one person's foolish is another person's sacred stuff. I'm a pagan Witch and I know that many of my beliefs are offensive to Christians. I accept that. However, I don't flaunt anything in anyone's face, I don't try to convert anyone, and I am a very normal person who just has a strong connection to nature, in many ways.
On the other hand, to me, Christians have a lot of foolish beliefs. In the interests of not bashing, I will not list any here. Their beliefs are their beliefs, and as long as their beliefs don't affect me or touch me or harass me, or harm others, it doesn't bother me. I have learned that trying to show someone that their religious beliefs are foolish is useless most of the time, and it only aggravates them.
The problem arises, for me, when Christians, or anyone, cross that line and try to do something directly to me bc of my beliefs, like yell at me, tell me I am going to hell, dismiss my beliefs as not real, not valid, made up, silly, etc. Offensive words or conduct directed at me bc of my beliefs is not acceptable to me.
I don't do that to anyone, and although foolish beliefs are out their in abundance, they aren't particularly offensive unless they are harmful to me or others. An example of beliefs of other faiths that don't affect me but that I find offensive would include Islam's treatment of women, oppression, wearing burkhas, lack of education, no choices in marriage, the list goes on. That offends me bc it affects helpless women.
Interesting question!

Only because you are defensive. Think about it: what does the word "offensive" mean? Simply holding a belief, foolish or otherwise, is not an act of aggression, and does not warrant offense.

Just like beauty, I think foolishness is sometimes in the eye of the beholder. Especially in the case of religion.

What does they say about you, that someone else's belief actually offends you.
I'm a Christian, and I suppose you posted this to anger me. Well , my Father in heaven loves and can forgive you. So why can't I do the same.
God bless and have a blessed day.

I have beliefs that are different from others in my faith, but just because their different doesn't make them foolish. I believed Jesus died to show us that nobody escapes death but because he died innocent we are assured that by our following his teachings our own deaths won't be forever. He was never a sacrifice, thats an antichrist influence.

you will always have offensives but the key is not to be offended
or not to be the one that does that
to everyone there is something offensive
depends on what you are speaking of
