My Husband is overseas, I'm having such a difficult time emotionally, mentally, and physically. This is positively the hardest thing I have ever had to do, other than give birth...cuz let me tell ya, that was a real *****!! Does anybody have any suggestion on how to make the time go bye any faster, and on tips how to be a "single" mom?

I feel for you ! My husband is also in the Military and I understand what you are going through. I really don't know what to tell you except stay connected with your friends and family as much as possible so that you don't feel isolated. I know there will be days that you don't know how you will make it through as a single mom but before you know it he will be home. Military "wives" are also brave and strong.....we have to be! I wish you and your family all the best.

The only thing you'll ever need is made of plastic and uses batteries...

Seriously tho, it doesn't get any easier you just learn to deal with it. Talk to him as much as possible. Hug your baby(ies?) all the time. Realize that you've got to be a handful of people and figure out a way to do that. When he comes home, put all those responsibilities to the side and let him be the man while you enjoy his presence and him allowing you to be a woman.

As a single mom I do so cherish the first thing I spoke about on those lonely nights. I also surround myself with true friends, always think of my children first, consistently work on bettering myself and know that one day I'll have my peace of mind and if I'm lucky, maybe I'll even have someone to share it with.

You've already got someone to share it with, now you just have to realize how lucky you are and stop mopping around and become functional without him. Your kids will be better off for it. Good luck to you.

yes get with ladies from your squadron. there is famly services depending on what branch of service you are from there are many things to keep you busy. you just have to seek help. go to the doctor and get some medical advice they can help also. you can take up some things you didn't do befor ehe left such as sewing, knitting something like that painting. i mean there are so manythings if you have kids take them to parks on outings and be with them they are feeing the same way. it will be no time he'll be back.
