I have to be honest, I expect them to be Christ-like. Accepting, loving, non-judgmental, etc. I realize that's impossible for everyone except for Mother Theresa, but still...

People who proclaim a belief in God yet who manage to be hateful really do give all of Christianity a bad name.

A guinuine loving person that tries hard to work and serve others. They will make mistakes because they are not perfect. Since all people are not perfect. I expect honesty and trustworthness to be at the top of character traits. I am very strong at telling the truth and holding up my word. If I say something I will follow through with it. I dispise being told a lie. I think it is so wrong! Therefore I strive to be very honest. I have a difficult time with joking sometimes. Because I can't just flat out lie. People can almost always tell that when I'm joking because I can't be serious at that time. Good question.

For the person who merely believes in God I expect nothing more than I would from any person who is lost and knows not God! Even Satan and his fallen crew believe in God and know his power. Knowing God is a different proposition.

The key for different and set-apart behavior is a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. Along with that will be a declaration that Jesus Christ is Lord of there life! From that person I expect a daily effort to live like Christ and follow His word in spirit and deed.

I have no expectations. A person who knows and believes in God is still just a sinner, howbeit saved by the grace and mercy of God.

When we come to know Jesus, we still have our lives to work through. Only thing is, we have great help getting through and the promise of eternal life when we die.

I do not expect any particular behaviour, because I have seen all kinds of things from people who believe in God.

But I generally hope that they are loving people who treat others the way they want to be treated.

I do expect to See a change, i did...I didn't say cuss words any more, or drink, I read the bible and do research on the web and try and learn everything i can, I'm thinking of going to college and study the Bible...,I also go to church, I was a lot more into the church, doing Christmas play, I sometimes sing in the choir
aAnd I and alot of people I've talked to have had dreams about heaven, angels, Jesus..Here's the one I had and I had it 3 years ago and I still can't get it off my mind.....it was very powerful and has helped a lot of people

THE DREAM

I DREAMED ONE NIGHT TWO ANGELS CAME TO MY BED. THEY TOOK ME TO HEAVEN I FELT I HAD NOTHING
TO DREAD. WE STOOD IN FRONT OF A BIG WHITE GATE. IT OPENED SLOWLY AS WE STOOD IN WAIT.
MANY CLOUDS BILLOWED AND SWIRLED ABOUT US AS I STOOD IN AWE OF THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS THAT
SURROUNDED US. WHAT I SAW WORDS COULD NOT EXPRESS, I WANTED TO STAY AT THIS BEAUTIFUL ADDRESS.
THE ANGELS ALLOWED ME TO LOOK INSIDE, THE BEAUTY THE MAJESTY, MADE ME CRY.
"IT'S TRUE, IT'S ALL TRUE, I KNOW THAT IT'S TRUE" I HEARD MYSELF CRY, AS TEARS RAN STREAMING
FROM MY EYES.
I KNEW WHAT I SAW WAS NOT OF THIS EARTH,THIS CREATION WAS FOR THOSE OF THE NEW BIRTH. THE
POWER, THE BEAUTY, THE SIGHT OF IT ALL WAS SO STRONG,THAT THE ANGELS SHUT THE GATES QUICKLY
TO MY NEW HOME. "IT'S NOT YOUR TIME," I HEARD THEM SAY, " WE JUST WANTED YOU TO SEE WHAT WAS
ON THE WAY," THEY SAID "YOU WILL NOT REMEMBER WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN INSIDE THE GATE, BUT YOU WILL REMEMBER WHERE
YOU HAVE BEEN.YOU MUST TELL OTHERS ABOUT THIS DREAM. THAT GOD'S WORD IS TRUE. IT'S THE REAL THING.
GOD HAS LET YOU SEE WHAT IS YOUR REWARD IF YOU WORSHIP, LOVE HIM, AND KEEP HIS WORD."
WE ALL NEED TO REALIZE THAT IT'S REALLY TRUE. WE NEED TO GET THE LOST ONES IN IF IT'S ALL THAT WE
DO. WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME, THE END IS NEAR, AND YES, IF YOU ARE LOST YOU HAVE EVERYTHING TO FEAR.
CALL ON JESUS NOW, SO YOU CAN GO TO AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I SAW AND YOU'LL BE EXCITED TOO.
I'LL SOON BE IN MY NEW HOME,PASS THE BIG WHITE GATES. DON'T YOU WANT TO GO THERE TOO? I JUST CAN'T
WAIT!!!!

I REALLY DREAMED THIS DREAM JUST AS IT IS WRITTEN. I FEEL IT WAS INSPIRED BY GOD AND HE GUIDED MY
THOUGHTS AND MY HAND IN PUTTING THIS TOGETHER.

I AM GIVING THIS TO YOU BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND GOD HAS DIRECTED ME TO DO SO.
I HOPE THIS MESSAGE WILL HELP YOU TO MAKE THE BIGGEST DECISION OF YOUR LIFE
TO ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR AND TO SERVE HIM. SO YOU, ONE DAY
WILL STAND AT THE BIG WHITE GATE AND BE INVITED IN FOR ETERNITY

I would expect them to try to use Jesus as their example in how they answer people's questions. I know it can get frustrating when you see the world walking aimlessly in darkness and you know you are standing next to the light switch , trying to lead them to it but unfortunately, as the bible describes, some seeds fall on the rich soil, and some on the rocks. We can only give them love and respect and realize that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the Satan's strong hold

The same behavior christ exemplified during his lifetime encompassed, in the simplest of teachings he offered to all who would listen:

Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You.

I like smiley george's answer. The judging is limited by God on me, through conviction. My flesh is the thing that keeps my spirit busy 24/7. " ... the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." -- Matthew 26:41 KJV

I would expect someone who tries to follow Jesus's footsteps. They would be loving of fellow humans, forgivers of others, show compassion for others, and live their life as an example to the man who died for our sins.
