Does anyone have any suggestions for other viewing locations for the Ball drop in Times Square for new years?

ya know, like knowing the right people in some of the surronding buildings in the area that has perfect views of the action WITHOUT being in the packed crowds or putting up with the police.

If there are any still available you may want to try to get a room at the the mariott marquis. However, they still get quite a crowd.

The best place to view the ball drop is from the TV in your living room. There are always entirely too many people.

Some apartments, hotels, and office buildings offer rooftop views and restaurant-like apartments for NY Eve. It usually costs about $32 a person from 10pm-1230 am.
