when i do crunches on the floor the end of my spine hurts so i do them on my bed I still feel the burn in my abs but should i do them on the floor or my bed to get better abs i get the burn in both spots but my tailbone hurts after like 20 sit ups. And is it alright to do bicep curls sitting down or is it better standing up.

If ur doing crunches on the floor and ur spine hurts, then ur probably doing them wrong. If you are moving your neck when ur doing a crunch that means you are doing them wrong and that would probably be the cause of the pain in your spine. The proper way to do a crunch is to let your abs pull up your body instead of your neck.

idk about the bicep curls but on the abs, what i do is lay on the bed and put 2 pillows that ive folded in half right at the base of my spine, but dont sit on them. and do crunches like that. you feel the burn and you work them out more because you can lean back more.

its kinda like that one ball that theyre selling on tv that you do the same thing w/.

If your spine is hurting you are doing your crunches to high
you need to stay where your shoulders are just off the floor

bicep curls can b dun tonsa different ways, it makes no differce, nd if u want abs, just do sit ups wita mat, cuz no point havin a bad back nd killer abs is there?also, try positionin a small pillow in the smalla ur back, it helps and increases tension on the abs

Get one of those big yoga balls. you can do sit ups on them. Just make sure when you lean back your on your back. Make sure it is stable. You wouldn't want yourself to fall.
