You have to realize, joining the infantry, combat is your job. And if you're not in combat you'll be training for combat.
No one gets stationed in iraq or a combat zone, you can request to go where ever you want and when its time, your unit will deploy from whatever base they're stationed at. Best of luck.

Probably very high. On a postive note though. The people attacking our troops don't want to die either, regardless of what we are led to believe. If a Marine infantry unit is on one block and another block is say an Air Force unit movoing supplies, they are going to hit the AF unit. Simple fact is they want to get a high death count of Americans. The Marine unit is trained to fight back and the enemy has a better chance of getting killed, why would they risk that when there are much less trained units to fire on.
No chance on getting that in a contract. I would suggest if you are unwilling to go to the Middle East to fight than you not only put yourself in danger but other members of your squad.
Combat is a very scary thing and it is normal to be afraid of it. The Marine Corps does a very good job at training you on how to survive it. In my opinion it is to better to go there very well trained than to go unprepared for what could happen.
I spent 6 years in the Corps.

My Marine Corps is not another fine Game by Milton Bradley . . Marine Corps Infantry is not for the faint of heart . . if you are indecisive about joining because you cannot choose where you will go or what you will do . . Stay Out of the Grunts . .
Check out the Web below . . you will not find the Marine Corps in the Listing.

Pretty good chance. You would do a number of things, to go into a list would be a long answer. Just type in Marine Infantry in a search and see what it brings up.

usa Air tension is personallyy my popular branch. yet Im sorry to tell you they'll placed you the place ever they want you, yet an excellent style of the air bases are a superb length and that i don't think of they could be finding to deliver a IT guy into wrestle. the unhappy cognizance you will desire to come back to is which you're talking a pair of militay service. not a summer season camp. Being shot is achievable you will would desire to absorb case you cant understand that. it would desire to not be the main suitable concept to connect any service. As for Deployments the militia will assign you some the place, IE Lackland Airforce base, cannon airforce base NM ect. then will establish you from 60 to ninety days to a base in iraq afganstan or what ever they want. in case you extra information e mail Me or confer with a recruiter maximum are actually not blood sucking leaches...

Your chances are very good. Depending on how you look at it and if you chose to stay in for a while. The reason being right now your promotion chances are far greater if you have served in combat zone than if you have not, at least that how its going in the Marine Corps right now.

If you enlist, they go where they need you.
Telling them where you want to go? If you want to go to Iraq, they will accomodate you, otherwise, no.
