Living in a place that grows 75% of all tart cherries in the country, I have to go with cherries as my favorite fruit. Black sweet cherries are awesome!

Peaches, peaches, peaches...my mother and I have a "debate" in June and August every year because the local strawberries start being ripe in June (so then those are our favorite, after a long winter of non-local fruit) and then it's raspberries that ripen in July and then it's Peaches, when they finally start to ripen in early August. Local fruits are sooo much sweeter than shipped in fruits! And after the peaches, then we get local apples!

Kent mango's. Best type of mango's there is. Only can get them in Asian market. Mexican mango's are too fibery and the little yellow mangos are good but they are too small. Kent's are like a cross of the two, best of both worlds.

The pomegranate. As much fun to play with --- trying to open them up and get the seeds --- as they are to eat.
