If you want real abbs. Sit ups till they burn periodically through out the to the point where you absolutely cant do anymore. I also suggest getting down and doing 30 push up about 7 times through out the day. Jog about 4-5 miles a day or 1 hr cardio on some kind exercise machine.

There's no exact amount of sit ups that you should/shouldn't do its totally up to you. There are quite a few different exercises for the abs (upper, middle, lower & obliques). You should find which ones work best for you, of course there are beginning, intermediate and advanced levels for some of these exercises. You shouldn't work the abs (just like any other body part) everyday this will slow down the progression.
Given your age, weight & height running every other day for 30 minutes should suffice.
Eating is the biggest part for getting and keeping good abs. Since you are 15 y.o. you probably have a high metabolism which means you can eat anything an not gain much weight but, this doesn't mean you should eat everything. Eating fish, chicken and turkey will help you out a great deal (broiled or baked). Don't forget the vegetables and for snack food nuts (almonds are great), yogurt, peanut butter and a varieties of fruit.
As a trainer once told me "everyone has a six pack is just a matter of exposing them".

Forget the six-pack gimmick. It will just burn you out and not give you any noticeable results. Keep to the jogging, and eating healthy. Eventually find other exercises, one's that involve your whole body or work each part of it, like weight training. The abs ( six pack) will develop on their own, they are meant to keep up with the demands of your body, which are quite a lot on a daily basis. Once your at training for a few years, then you can think about your abs, ( it will be just a matter of toning up, can be done in 6 weeks then) but by then you'll realize the real prize is health, not some little muscles that hardly ever see the light of day.

Only cardio makes you lose weight. Run for a mile or two every other day. I used to do five thousand sit ups (no joke) every other day and while I had really strong abs, I still had my gut.

If I were you I would do 20-30 pushups everyday, 30 curls, and run a mile. This will help you get into shape.

well exercising has very little to do with getting abs to show. getting abs to show has much more to do with eating healthy, dieting, and cardio. dont get me wrong u still have to workout abs, but its not as important.
