They don't sound any more like BS than 1. The Baptist Church 2. The Catholic Church 3. The Church Of Latter Day Saints 4. The Unitarian Universalist Church 5. The Methodist Church 6. The Pentecostal Holiness Church, etc etc etc.
Churches are inventions of man, and their reasons and ideology are just imaginary wierdness.
