Over eight glasses of water a day, that's for sure. Drink as much as you feel is needed! Whether it be only eight ounces of water a day, or ten.

depends on the girls weight. At the age the girl is at, 8 glasses a day, may be too much. Plus, we don't know how much physical activity this girl does in a day. Normal range of water intake is 8 glasses of H2O a day. I would suggest, the 13 year old girl consult her family physician to get the correct amount for her body weight. The girl does not want to over dose on water.

most of us only drink when we are thirsty, and that is wrong. by the time you are thirsty your body is already dehydrating,
every one should drink several glasses of water daily, however, this is not a dieting ploy. you still have to eat well balanced, nutritious meals every day. please do not think that by drinking water you can avoid eating and lose weight. all you will do is make yourself ill.
cut out the junk food, the late night snacks along with the majority of the starchy foods you normally eat. you will lose weight safely and not compromise your health.
your young, your body is not finished growing and IF you are chubby right now, that will change without your doing anything foolish! okay?
take care of yourself sweetie and don't, don't, go crazy with dieting.
