All guys seem to run in the opposite direction before even getting to know me when they find out that I want to wait for marriage. I feel bad if I don't tell guys up front, I don't want to be a tease. What do I do?

Thanks for everyone who is answering, its uplifting, some of them anyway lol! About the youth group idea, its good in theory and the original route I was taking, but those guys seem to just want to bring me to church and home to see their parents and then get sex from someone else. :(

Find a guy in a church group. There you will meet men who share the same values.
Or, you can always change your values.... agree to have sex with a guy, but only after 1 year of dating. That's long enough to keep most players from dating you, yet, at the same time, it won't come across as extorting marriage proposals from guys, in exchange for sex. Some people may disagree with that assessment, but (in essence), it's what you're doing... and many guys will not tolerate that for very long.

At 23, so am I. Dating can be tricky. You can find someone who thinks like you OR you can say to the guy you like, "I like you, but I'm not having sex with you. Don't even ask. But I like to be with you. We probably shouldn't go steady, but I'd be happy to date you casually, just to find out more about who you really are. Although I don't expect for you to commit to me."

I absolutely refuse to have sex before marriage.... you didn't have to look far :P but I don't think that helps lol.
If a guy find it as a problem that you want to wait until after marriage, then he is more then likely just wanting to use you for sex anyways.
Just be patient bud. If you go to a church, thats allways a great place to look for a mate.

You have to tell them first thing. You don't just have to come out and say Im a virgin..i wanna wait till marriage...haha. But you can ask about his opionion...and is he ok with that? Your worth waiting for. You will find a guy that has the same opionion....... i did

find that perfect guy, and on the first date be straignt up and tell that person. if that person changes during the date or after, hes not the right one bcuz its obvious he wants some before marriage. most guys are just stupid like that

When you get/have a boyfriend tell him upfront that you are planing on waiting until after your married to have sex. If he can't respect that then you should break up with him. Some men can respect that you choose to wait and others can't!

This isn't information you should feel like you have to give on a first date. Dating is just that. Wait until it looks like it might go further then ask him where he stands on moral and sexual issues.

just keep looking, there will be a guy out there. get to know someone as a friend frist, maybe once they know you, they'll understand you better and then going out would make sense.
