"When you meet a swordsman, meet him with a sword. Do not offer a poem to anyone but a poet."

I´m really tired of religious supremacy in numbers. I´m sure that atheists will be for a long time a minority, but the minority that acts from a position of power can lead the masses. This century is the century of connectivity. Today, a lone heretic is not really alone anymore, and acting in concert can go a long way to influence the way the tide rises.

Even if massive amounts of money are being invested by those religious institutions to further their aims, the cause of the atheist can be helped by guerrilla marketing tactics.

I´m asking you if you ever had an idea that you want to share about making the atheist cause stronger.

I´m not talking about fanaticism, I´m talking about tenacity... big difference.

What if scientific institutions (who do by far the most good in the world) were to start claiming that it is in service to atheism?

I know just what you mean. I don't believe in fairies - do you know where I can find some help convincing everyone else that they don't exist? I feel the need to be tenacious about it...there are just too many people who believe in those nasty little winged things....and everyone else needs to believe exactly the way I do.

Even though I know there's no such thing as a fairy, I want to amass a large group of people so we can "prove" we're right, and discredit each and every person who believes in a fairy. It is my sole purpose in life, to disprove something that I already know doesn't exist.

Congratulations on the most ridiculous item of the day. Sounds more like you're trying to work up some numbers to prove it to yourself. You can harden your head, but the truth is in your heart....and that's why you feel so compelled to disprove something that you would rather believe doesn't exist. If you think about it, that's a pretty futile goal, isn't it.

Form an alliance. Pool your resources. Next time a natural disaster strikes, be the first down there and show those other charity workers how it's done!

I say it needs to be done. I promote such a position.

As the first blow, I suggest all rapture believers are forced to purchase larger insurance policies "for those people who will remain behind."

All those suddenly empty cars will cause crashes. All those kitchen stoves and ovens will cause fires.

Those and many more calamities will be their direct fault.
