1 Corinthians 11:3 Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
This scripture pretty much removes anything following from the running. The rib thing is out too, since Adam was suppose to have been created, but Eve was suppose to have been an early cloning experiment. That gives us 1 scripture named that says women are equal to men. OUTRAGEOUS! There should be hundreds, if not thousands.

No verse needed. We all know God created woman(Eve) out of Adams rib. The rib comes from the side, which shows that woman stands along side of man, which means equality. If God wanted women to be subordinate to man, He would have created her from a bone in his foot, which would mean that He stands above and over her. He created them to become one, and to become one, must be equal.

Women are equal to men in dignity. Do men treat and/or acknowledge them as such? No. But remember...in creation, whenever God created something new, it was always of a higher order than what he had previously created. Since women were created after men, they are naturally superior to men. Ever see a guy when he has a cold? You'd think they were dying! they God they can't give birth!

1 Corinthians 11:11 - "In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman."
Men and women aren't equal in the sense that they are both made the same for the same purposes. We have different purposes. When a man and woman come together in marriage, they are meant to compliment one another and be better than they were before. :)

There isn't one, which is why MEN should CHERISH the woman and protect her, which most MEN do not do.
It's all upside down right now.
