Soak it in drain cleaner, mist it with water, and keep it under enough tension to stop the frozen links from lifting up while you pedal. That should make it nice and loud. :o)

Or if you mean loud as in color, just get out the airbrush or spray paint.....some of it will stay on the links, some will wear off. I've actually seen people do this on bmx chains and freak beater bikes.

Use a 1/8" BMX chain w/ a bashguard, and NEVER oil it.

chains usually arent loud i dont think its usually the cassette or freewheel on the rear hub
