Ground monkey backs ,smoked hippo hoof, ckeeks of a bubble eyed bat, when a pig is deemed retarded,it`s brain is ground up and added to the mix,soy bean,lard,Plus the occasional bug or rat or moth,beetle,paint chips and old ceiling dust,that just might fall in the mix,....Don`t forget the mustard!!!!!

Generally speaking "weiners" come from pigs and franks come from all beef and both come wrapped in a sheeps intestine.
Hot dogs gained their popularity during the Great Depression when butchers found they could scrape together whatever leftover pork had and throw it in a hot dog, today you have a variety of hot dogs Kosher (non-pig), turkey, etc, but your run of the mill cheap dog will still contain a lot of the random parts of the pig. Though today standards have incresased quite significantly

depends on what kind you buy. If it say 100% meat, it's probably a mix of cow, pork and chicken. If it say 100% beef it's all the left over parts of the cow.

i thought they were made of bits and pieces of animals that aren't used elsewhere. or just different kinds of meat.
