I just read this :
"beeing a vetrinaryan coming from TexasA&M he will be as fine as if he just are dog food

Also chockolate never give any dog it is very poisonus to there emune systems"

I am so glad if I need a vet I call mine- listening to 'vets' on here could cause some problems.

Wow...that's kinda scary. But...I'm pretty sure it's fake. :p That's the first time I've ever seen "chocolate" spelled with a 'k' or "veterinarian" spelled with a 'y'. Definitely speshul.

Vets go to school the same length of time that a doctor does. They read many medical texts and do a great deal of writing.

I'm going to assume with reasonable certainty that whoever wrote that is not a vet. I wouldn't have made that many spelling errors when I was in high school.

"as if he just are dog food"? I would be concerned if my vet said my dog was just fine, like she would be if she were dog food. Then I'd never take her to that vet again.

Grammar counts, people.

And I know a handful of vet tech students who don't think they need to learn to spell medical terms because "their vets" don't ever write them all the way out. *sigh* There's laziness in every profession. Those students are currently not attending the school I work for any longer, as the teacher was needlessly torturing them by FORCING them to learn to spell things.

As in any profession, it helps if you can present yourself professionally. This includes grammar (not "grammer"), people.

I would imagine. They could make a spelling mistake on a prescription for an animal that could be fatal. That person needs to go to school. That is like the spelling of a second grader. Geez.

Obviously, most veterinarians are not going to have time to sit on Yahoo! Answers and give out free advice to people who should be coming in to actually see them. Anyone who takes advice from someone claiming to be a veterinarian on here really needs to watch themselves. Good lord. I can't believe someone is actually that bad at spelling and grammar.

Wow, unbelievable...even worse than those who ask questions and only want answers they want to hear. No matter how incorrect. The good news is, I don't think *anyone* would believe that person is a vet.

I am a veternerian and I learnt how 2 spell only the emportent things, like parvoe, hyp displazia, jenetic testing, breading ur dawg, obeydience training. I mean, so what if I cannot spell things correctedly. People still understanding what I am saying - doesn't they?

Yes, spelling is required, same as for doctors, otherwise they'd never be able to prescribe the proper medicines. I don't know who wrote that, but it's horribly bad English.

That's pretty bad! I don't know about spelling in vet school, but I do now they all have to take a "bad handwriting" class!
