Money and power.

No matter what the rhetoric, no matter what the speeches, no matter what the talking points, its always, and I mean ALWAYS about money and power.

After World War 11 the Americans realized that as a world power intervention in the politics of other countries would be necessary in certain circumstances. In WW11 the americans tried to stay neutral which was the wrong decision and coming in to late allowed germany to much freedom for to long. Unfortunately some of these wars have not been good choices and wars should be fought to save lives, not for oil! Remember gulf war 1 was a good choice to save a country from certain distruction, as well we need to maintain a strong world position (nato) as a whole to prevent crazy leaders such as north korea, saddam, hitler, stalin from taking what they want with no recourse.
Now the USA has gone to far though and hopefully will gear back in the future and worry more about whats going on at home!

The united states wars usualy invole.. Somthing some what stupided and that we shouldnt be getting involed in. Such as iraq people say were over there because of 9/11 but if we were there for that reason why are we getting oil.. Or the united states trys to stop problems with other countrys if 2 are fighting each other. But some people do it for conquer and dictatorship.

Usually it is because we have no choice. Terrorists are terrorists, and negotiations are useless. As much as I would like everyone to live in peace, there are those that dont. Others suggest that wars are fought for money and power. Hopefully money is not the issue in Iraq, or Bush would have lead American soldiers to unnecessary deaths.

To show superiority and dominance. Or to help a country that needs it. Or to protect our foreign assets. There are lots of reasons, and there isnt one set answer that would cover all the reasons why we go to war.

The term "war" is pure propaganda. The United States attacked and now occupies two countries without justification.

I'm afraid that our motivations today are objectively parallel to that of Adolf Hitler.

cause we learned in the late 1800's that to go to war with ourselves is incredibly stupid and more lives are lost than if we just find something wrong with someone else's country

It is much better than having war with ourselves.
