ok everyone at the skate park that i hang out with has a casette not a freewheel but theres is so loud, so i just bought a 2007 gt bump with a cassete why is mine so silint

Hello,
The freewheel mechanism is part of the wheel's freehub. Different manufactueres have different tastes. Some like a loud "click", some don't
I prefer no noise so the wheels I buy make almost no noise. My friend's bike has wheels you can hear a block away and I find that very anoying. So choose the wheel that matches your taste.

im pretty sure its just the different cassettes because mine wasnt very loud and then i broke that wheell and got a new one and that one wicked loud so its most likely just the difference

Yours still has lube in it. The other kids haven't a clue how to care for their bikes and never lube anything.
