I would put it in a study and keep the bedroom for more of a relaxing atmosphere. Somtimes computers make you tense.

The bedroom is no place for a computer, nor a TV.
There should be a room or a space provided for the computer, and all its accessories. You will need lots of room for books, research material, and if you are a work at home person you will need space to have privacy, concentration, and regular computer time hours. If you have it in the bedroom, if sharing, the other person, might want to go bed early, or sick, or read. That would be a distraction to both you and the other person.

Study room, I have a Laptop that my BF has banned from the bedroom. Its best to have a study, you dont want people asking to use the internet then you have to take them in your room. Your bedroom is a private area for you only. Its also nice to let the computer have its owm area, cuz then pretty soon your gonna have bills and papers, and printer and all kinda crap in there.

I think it would be better in the study room. Since its a laptop you can always move it in your room if you need to do something quick. But keep it in the study!

If you have a study room and have the room, I would put it in the study room. If you dont have the room and need to put it in your bedroom, I would buy a nice room divider, or privacy screen.

Definitely the study!
Even TV in the bedroom is not good.
Especially where kids might use it.
