There aren't any, although it may change the texture and/or flavor some. I throw things like just picked homegrown bell peppers in, grapes, cherries, etc. Not a health problem, if that's what you're worried about. Just another kitchen experiment. :-)

Freezer burn is the worst thing that could probably happen which would put a thick layer of gross ice on the top of the pineapple. Next to that an open can of pineapple can absorb any other odors that may be lurking in there. You'd be best off putting it in a plastic container w/ a lid or even in a zip-lock bag.

LOL shouldn't be dangerous at all. Just put it in a bowl and cover it next time because it may not taste so good. It's not good practice to store things in cans though, but only for the freshness of it and it may pick up other flavors.

I beleave that putting in the freezer would make it get Freezer burnt.

you might get botulism, I klnow opened cans of food can grow it, im not to sure about if it is frosen but it would be better to put it in a tupperware instead of leaving it in the can

I would take it out of the can before freezing it.
