Try coming to America to study English. You can understand it better then. The Brittish have such an accent that it is hard to understand some of their words and they have such funny ones for things too. Like they call all Spreadable fruit jelly. We use 3 different words to describe what consistency and taste the fruit is, like Jelly, Jam or Preserves. They use the word Bobby for the people that uphold the law. Bobby is the name of a boy in America. We call our law upholders Police or Cops. So much better, don't you think? They say boot for the trunk of a car. A boot is what you wear on your foot in America. Trunk is where you put items in the back end of the car. If we all speak English, why are there so many different words for the same thing? No wonder it is the hardest language to learn. In America you can learn English at any school, college or even with a personal tutor.
