I never believed it in the first place, and I'm one of the people who helped debunk it.
I still believe, however, that Gore needs to undergo a mental evaluation to see if he's competent enough to stand civil trial for the deceptions he perpetrated.

Well, I have asked myself several times where this global warming is. I just can't see it. There was the depression in the '30's and everything turned to dust.
The glaciers covered most of the northern hemisphere at one time and before that it was tropical.... I am waiting for global cooling. Seems to me those winter snow storms in the east are not global warming.
Lets' face it folks, everything is on a cycle. There used to be weather like Florida, in Alberta, and we have the dinosaurs to prove it. Iceland and Greenland had tropical weather. Now everyone thinks that they can put a stop to global warming, by doing this and that. Well, first thing, quit clearing the land in south America and releasing all those weird germs laying dormant for how long into the air, to travel wherever and make new horrific deseases. Quite cutting down new growth trees. Cut old growth. They don't produce oxygen as the new growth does. Cut down on the earth's population, and quit hauling in people from other countries to populate Canada. How full do we have to be? We are whining about not enough water, roads, electricity, too many cars and on and on. We have enough new people now to make babies to replace us old people, and they are doing their bit. So lets see if we can put the brakes on over population everywhere on earth. There is a lot of methane going into the atomosphere from humans and animals, and that has got to heat up things ......and I'll leave you with that to mull over.
Until then I will try and conserve just on a matter of principal. I reuse all that I can, give away what I can't use, and try to be rational about things.

Man's destruction of the environment hasn't been debunked.
Global warming hasn't been debunked either. It is still being debated. But more of mankind that doesn't want to change their selfish, me-istic selfish lazy life style will continue to trash the earth.
Me, I will do my best so my grandchildren can smell flowers, look at a mountain on a clear day and be able to breath with out a mask.
You go ahead and keep ruining the environment. Then when your grandchildren are born, with oxygen masks to keep them alive, you can pat yourself on the back for having a Hummer in 2007.

Don't know when its been debunked, unless some fundamentalist minister told you that. GW believes it. The Coast Guard believes because they now have a Northwest Passage between Canada and the Arctic Circle they have to patrol (just in the last five years). Debunked? The Russians are in the Arctic right now trying to put a flag on the land that has been uncovered with the retreat of the ice in the Circle. The US is trying to do that too as well as the French. I am guessing that you are one of those political cultists who won't believe it until some right or left wing politician tells you its OK.

I still don't want a hummer, even though I always knew there was no harm being caused to the environment by the CO2 coming out of the back of one.
There is still lead and other trace heavy metals mixed with the burned fuel waste, all of which pose a real problem for the environment.
What has always ticked me off about the way Global Warming Alarmists have used the popular media to create this hysteria, with no attempt to do any real research to prove their theories, is the potential cost to the real and needed environmental research, what little of it is being done.

ok, now, to answer ur question. Global Warming isn't a myth. it hasn't been debunked. Matter of fact, the ice levels in the Arctic are expected to hit record lows this year. Polar Bears have been found drowned bc they can't find any ice to pull themselves up on. They're starving to death bc the ice comes later and later every year, so they can't hunt seals in their traditional manner. we've had a new 'hottest summer on record' in a crapload of cities for the past 7 yrs. my advice is to stop listening to self serving oil men and actually pick up a book and read about what's being done to the Earth.

I will, turn on everything in my house. Wear t shirts only once. Waste food. Drive aimlessly around town. Buy cars that get 10 miles to the gallon. Laugh at tree huggers. Cut down trees. Throw away anything and everthing that is usless and can be recycled. Turn on the outside faucets of everyones homes. Flush the toilet more than once. AND MAKE EVERYONE THINK THAT THE PROBLEM WITH EARTH IS GLOBAL COOLING.

My A/C IS on 24/7 for the whole summer. It goes off for a couple of months, then the heat goes on 24/7.
For me, I'm taking the Wrangler off roadin' in the National Forest. I like getting close to nature.

It hasn't been debunked and even if it had, the Hummer still pollutes and makes the air smoggy, and 24/7 air conditioning is simply unnecessary.
