What is a spooner( spooter, scooter) something like that, board?

Im starting chiropractic college in the fall. I was told my some1 up there to get some kind of board but i didnt understand him on the phone. It sounded like spooter or scooter or something. Any1 have any ideas?

It sounds like "scooter board" - a combined scooter and snowboard that’s easy to ride.
