I know this sounds like a high school question, but I'm 28 and was wondering do guys still like to play games. I thought that after high school the games would stop, boy was I wrong. Do you guys prefer a girl to put her feeling out there, or "play hard to get"?

Okay, I'm not a guy, but I'm going to answer this question anyway because I know how guys think.
Guys may SAY that they love it when girls pursue them, make the first move, etc., but watch what these guys DO. Do they end up marrying these women who wear their hearts on their sleeves? Of course not! They marry the women who made them WORK for them, the women who they constantly tried to win over. Man always pursues woman. If woman pursues man, man will instantly know that the woman is interested in him and he'll possible lose interest. Why? Because men love challenges. That's why they play sports, fight wars, play poker, etc. So you have to be a challenge. The unobtainable is always so much more exciting to men; they very often want something more because they think they can't have it. Men are crazy over women who play hard to get. They may say that they're not, but, trust me, they are. They'll be flattered if a woman approaches them and asks them out, but they most likely won't be crazy about them. Playing hard to get is a very good thing; he should be an open book, you should be a mystery. Good luck!

I don't get what games you're talking about since you indicated that you are now 28, unless you are dating guys from high school.Plus your last question is really gender neutral since both guys and gals play hard to get and put their feelings there.My sense is that it depends on the individual and their own particular value system.Just like in anything in life,you have the good, the bad, the ugly and the indifferent. While we can sometimes control(to an extent) the people we allow into our lives, there is also an element of pure luck involved.Here is hoping all of your choices fall in place.

It depends on the guy and his age and his past.
Me, I am 29 and divorced. A full time job, a 6yr old daughter and a part time student. I don't have time for "hard to get".
I like a chase, everyone does, but games are just not an option.
My advice is to be somewhere in the middle of putting your feelings out there and playing hard to get...Its Give and take in the beginning.. It may still sound like a game, but its the dance we all crave.

I don't play games and I never will, not all guys do that but the ones that do makes it harder for the ones that don't. I like to earn the love of a woman. If I can't show her or feel the love I have inside my heart then she shouldn't waste her time on me. There are 3 things I believe in that makes a relationship last and they are:
1) Honesty
2) Faith
3) Trust
If one is playing games then I suggest play hard to get, but if one is not then don't, he is trying hard to show you his true feelings from his heart. hope this clarify that not all guys play games.

I would rather have a girl come straight out and tell me how she feels. I'm 25 and I stopped playing those games a long time ago but there are a lot of guys out there that just haven't grown up yet...

The games never totally stop, I don't think, and they can be fun at times, but, personally, I prefer that a girl be as direct as possible.

Playing hard to get is what you do when your 100% sure that person will still be there no matter what. For me (personally speaking) I like it when a girl is herself and just being sweet and loving.

I'm a bit older than you but I prefer honest and straight forward. No need to be rude or harsh if you're not interested. I just don't like guessing how women feel.

i'm not a guy yet i think of maximum adult men might like type 2...very few adult men like the intense maintenance lady...valuable intense maintenance ladies are lovable and all and could grab thier interest yet in a relationship that gets previous authentic rapid.
