why do u think i was put on phytomenadione(vitamin k)10mg what would have 2 be wrong with u for u 2 be put on that?
because it was said all my blood tests came back fine and there was nothing really wrong with me other than my epilepsy which i was put on carbamazepine(tegratol retard) any ideas
i thought it may have something2 do with my blood being b negative and i have had 2 get antibody jags in my pregnancy(due this monday).
but yea why do u think i was put on this if i was told everything came back fine

You should ask your care provider when you have a question about your treatment.

I think it is preparing for the delivery. They will probably give the newborn a shot of vitamin K shortly after it is born to prevent complications for the infant also.

Vitamin K is a member of a group of vitamins that are needed for the conversion of some proteins, some of which are required for blood coagulation, bone metabolism, and vein and artery health.
